Junior SQA Engineer

Position: Junior Software Quality Assurance Job Context The Jr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be primarily responsible for manual and automating test scenarios and identifying/reporting defects. This individual will be a pivotal member of an agile scrum team working closely with developers to drive a successful manual and automation strategy. Jr. SQA should be capable to work independently & manage team member. Key ACCOUNTABILITIES • Assist in developing test plans and cases based on product requirements and specifications. • Execute test cases manually and use automated testing tools to identify defects and verify functionality. • Document test results, defects, and issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve them. • Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes and updates do not adversely affect existing • functionality. • Track and manage defects using bug tracking systems, such as Redmine and PMT, and follow up on issue resolution. • Participate in departmental guidelines, Software manuals, and process-related documentation. • Collaborate with developers to prepare and present world-class organizational applications with high quality. • Responsible for testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and support of systems application • software. • Follow Quality Control processes according to industry-standard practices. • Ability to extract the non-functional requirements from the specification.
